LG advises on international superconductor energy technology company fundraising
International business law firm Lawrence Graham LLP ("LG") has advised AIM client Zenergy Power plc ("Zenergy") on a secondary fundraising of £20 million.
Zenergy is a superconductor energy technology company with business interests in the US, Europe and Australia. In the past six months Zenergy has seen an increased level of commercial activity and the proceeds raised from the secondary fundraising should assist it in funding the business as it continues its commercial development.
The LG Corporate team advising was led by partner Tom Nicholls and included associate Rebecca Gordon.
Tom said: "We are delighted to have advised on this transaction. We have advised Zenergy since its admission to AIM in 2006; since then Zenergy has brought the first two of its major patented technologies through to commercialisation. This transaction follows a number of deals we have worked on in the renewables/clean-tech sector, having recently advised AIM-listed wind energy client Clipper Windpower Plc on a US$206 million equity investment."
