LG advises Healthcare Locums on a trio of acquisitions and placing
International business law firm Lawrence Graham LLP ("LG") has advised AIM-listed Healthcare Locums Plc on three acquisitions and an £11 million placing.
Healthcare Locums has acquired the business and assets of three medical staff agencies including Australian-based Last Minute Locums Pty Limited for up to £7.5 million, the entire issued share capital of Orion Locums Limited for up to £10.5 million and conditionally agreed to acquire the business and assets of Redwood Health Limited for up to £6.65 million.
The LG team was led by Corporate partner Tim Casben who is based in LG's Dubai office and Corporate lawyer Farhod Moghadam, with assistance from Corporate lawyers Neil Calder, Lara Stacey and Katie Coles, together with a number of lawyers from around the firm.
Tim said: "These acquisitions follow Healthcare Locum's stated desire to enter the nursing market and grow internationally and strengthens its position as one of the leading suppliers of locum healthcare staff to the NHS."
