LG advises Brewin Dolphin on disposal of its corporate advisory and broking division
International business law firm Lawrence Graham LLP (LG) has advised Brewin Dolphin, one of the UK's largest independent private client investment managers, on the disposal of its corporate advisory and broking division to a new partnership called N+1 Brewin. Completion of the disposal is subject, inter alia, to receipt of certain regulatory authorisations for the new entity. N+1 Brewin will be capitalised jointly by N+1, a leading independent European financial advisory and asset management group, and senior management of Brewin Dolphin's corporate advisory and broking division. Brewin Dolphin will receive nominal goodwill of £4m for the disposal by way of a 14 per cent. interest in N+1 Brewin. The LG team was led by Corporate partner Geoff Gouriet and Corporate associate Kris Rogers.
