Once qualified, we also expect you to expand your management and business development skills, keep up to date with firm issues and initiatives, and develop a broader understanding of the wider business context in which clients perform. As your career progresses to senior associate you will take a more active role in leading teams, nurturing client relationships and accounting for financial performance.
On-the-job training is the cornerstone of your development and each practice group provides a range of training courses and updates relevant to that group's requirement.
Firmwide we offer a comprehensive programme of management development, risk management and business skills workshops for lawyers at different levels of experience. These range from networking and communication skills at a junior level through to year-long development programmes for both experienced associate and partner groups.
